Fresh off his first Rolling Loud performance, newcomer Morray is one of the only rappers coming from Fayetteville, North Carolina. Maybe you heard of a guy named J Cole, who’s also from Fayetteville? Morray put everyone on notice with his breakout single ‘Quicksand’, which currently has over 103 million views on YouTube. Now, the soulful rapper is gearing up for his upcoming album ‘Street Sermons’, releasing the music video to his single ‘Trenches (Remix)’ featuring Polo G.
Morray’s emotional singing and empathic lyrics make for the powerful track ‘Trenches’ that speaks to people, who think they’re out of options, but assuring them to stay positive through the pain. Polo G verse added to the remix gives another street storyteller point of view of the less fortunate from the trenches.
