“They don’t know Lil Herb and Big Swerv still the same nigga”
Don’t you love it when artists who rose to stardom from the streets don’t make a fuss about the production of their music videos? It’s not a game that every artist can play. Thankfully, G Herbo can. Yesterday, the legendary rapper released the official video for ‘Thug’, which samples the meteoric classic ‘Thuggish Ruggish Bone’ topline. Over the production, heavily inspired by the 1994 Bone Thugs-N-Harmony hit, the Chicagoan name drops King Von, Lil Durk, Waka Flocka Flame and others. He also doesn’t miss the chance to make it clear he doesn’t befriend snitches. Before the Manhattan-based nighttime visual ends, the ‘Win Again’ rapper lets you know what you ought to do to get signed by him.
Check out the music video above to hear G Herbo say he turned his mans up like he’s OTF. The lead single from the forthcoming project ‘Lil Herb: Lil Heroin Edition’ will release on June 12.
