The Mississippi singer teams up with BLK Dior for a debut single about loving the man her mother warned her about.

Three days ago, R&B artist Chara Nae released a well-made slow jam entitled ‘Fallin’’. On her debut track, the Mississippian sings about a strong attraction to a man she feels she shouldn’t be with. That aside, she’s falling in love and fast. She promises him her presence and willingness to be patient. Although his public persona is aggressive and possibly dangerous, she conveys a different side.
If you grew up in a metropolis where these sorts of boys-to-men frequent and dated them, you know what she’s talking about here. Most times, what they become isn’t of their choosing because surviving becomes first. Why don’t they opt for legal ways to make ends meet? Well, the reality for them is that they do not qualify for most options, and when they do, they aren’t selected.
For the feature, she enlisted fellow Mississippian artist BLK Dior. During her fitting verse, she raps about potentially calling out of work to make herself available for amour, or romance. Her mother told her to leave him alone, but she’d rather learn the hard way, and that’s how it goes sometimes. Listen to the sweet melody below more than once.
