Set in a time period before now (1801) and a world away (in Yorkshire, England), ‘Wuthering Heights: House of the Damned’ tells a story about Mr Lockwood, a man who rented a place to escape society and later decided society was preferable. The official trailer for the Rebecca J Matthews film gave me the creeps! Could you imagine how the novel—inspired by the Emily Brontë original—made readers feel when they read it? Or was it a case of art merely imitating life?
It’s just the thing a person would want in their arsenal for their Halloween-themed festivities next month.
‘Withering Heights: House of the Damned’ will be available on October 16. It was written by Liana Failla; starring Ross Townsend-Green, Sky Cheema, Elle O’Hara, and Nicola Wright. The skin-crawling thriller runs 100 minutes.
