Ghana’s Wendy Shay and Lasmid explore intimacy through new collaboration ‘Bendova’

It’s been two weeks since Ghanaian Afropop star Wendy Shay and rising artist Lasmid shared the official video for ‘Bendova’. The catchy tune sees the creative duo trading carnal lyrics, which detail their private plans for later. When the award-winning singers aren’t marketing love and life as a product, they’re posing with fellow African musicians like superstar Tiwa Savage and KiDi.

To my suprise, there’s an incongruous bedroom scene. As a viewer, I could have gone without it. In my opinion, it may have been better to leave more to the imagination. Nonetheless, the Marvee Visions direction observes their flat connection.
