Me Not You – Stranger (Submission)

New York City has been undergoing a rebirth of sorts, in all genres and categories. It’s a potentially lucrative thing for the industry. We can coach local artists to transition to the mainstream market, which brings me to Me Not You’s infectious sound. ‘Stranger’ is about what it’s about, but it has mega playback value. I listened to it several times. It still sounds as good as the first time.

La Fine Equipe & Fakear – 5th Season (Submission)

It’s hump day. People with ordinary jobs are ready for Friday night to let loose or go to bed. Whatever the choice, La Fine Equipe & Fakear are capable of cultivating for the vibe. If you’ve been following this website for some time, you know I am a sucker for House music, French things, and a good bassline. ‘5th Season’ embodies all of the above. Stream the bouncy Dance track now, below.

KLAHR – Falling In Love (Submission)

It is fascinating to say that when I agreed to review ‘Falling In Love’, I was in the midst of falling in love with someone. I’m no longer in love as I am currently writing about this song, but it’s still a beautiful composition. Every second of the song hits the way its creator intended, so if you’re not careful, you might second guess your thoughts about a previous lover or fall in love with someone new. Fall deep, but be responsible for your heart. If you’re wondering, according to the information I have, the vocal sample comes from the Salsoul Records catalogue. Listen to the beautifully-crafted Nu-Disco cut below.

KidEyes – Ghost (Submission)

Today, most vocalists stay with reasonable parameters of a comfortable range because they aren’t capable of projecting like competitors. It isn’t to rag on those set of entertainers, but some levels of talents are unattainable for the untrained and those groups of people who lack the skill or gift. Thankfully, KidEyes doesn’t suffer from that issue. The Los Angeles-based producer, composer and guitarist is within a bracket and a world of his own. Listen to ‘Ghost’ below.

FATHERDUDE – Business (Personal)

Last month, FATHERDUDE previewed his funky track ‘Business’ at our Music Social event. If you’re ever in the mood for people to leap out of your face, and to stop snooping around to find out what you’re doing, play the New York-based musician’s track. Hear the catchy record below.
