Swardy – Here On My Own (Submission)

When you’ve worked hard by yourself for as long as I have, the lyrics on Swardy’s single, equivalent to the music you’d hear as a backing track during an elevator pitch, will cut you deeply. Ironically, upon listening, I don’t feel alone anymore. I felt like someone out there could identify with my lifestyle in the least bit. Taking on a solo effort away from his The M Machine work, the five-minute track comes from his solo debut EP, ‘Here On My Own’.

MAXINE – Defined (Submission)

When I received the song as a submission, the name of the song was different. MAXINE, the Sydney, Australia-based singer-songwriter penned a song about the way to elevate in life. Now, the official music video directed by Jordan Hill is out. Watch the visual below. I hoped for the whole video to be like its ending.

Fullee Love (Soup of Jurassic 5) – Nile Rodgers (Git On Down) (Submission)

On his solo trip, Jurassic 5 member Fullee Love released the second single from his debut album ‘Free, White and 21’ over the Summer. Since it’s cold right now in New York City, it doesn’t hurt to warm up with the producer’s rich Nu-Disco track.

The Solarists – Cup of Tea (Submission)

From their recent EP, ‘CRYPTK’, The Solarists shares an addictive track which begs to ask if we could love them at all. In the compelling new track, ‘Cup of Tea’, the band showcases their larger-than-life Pop sensibilities and that they’re here to stay. Check out the riveting track below.

Chega – Mercy (Submission)

I’ve heard great things come out of Los Angeles; I believe Chega is one of those things. Coming from her Jazz & Blues roots, Megan Mortensen sings passionately about love. Most of us can appreciate love, so that’s what made the connection. Check out the song ‘Mercy’ below.
