Mark Haven – Jungle Secrets (Submission)

It’s Thursday, also known as pre-Friday around these parts. I am pumped—in the mood to start my workday early because I am happy about life, so ‘Jungle Secrets’ matches my level of energy. As usual, I have an iced chai latte in my hand to keep my body temperature cool. The warm bass line used in the Italian EDM producer’s track is synonymous with the eighty-degree weather in New York City today. It is a soundscape with many fun layers encapsulating a sound inspired by the wilderness.

SLANDER & Crankdat – Kneel Before Me featuring Asking Alexandria (Submission)

Is it me or when ‘Kneel Before Me’ comes on, it sounds like you’ve won at life? The Heavy Metal fusion with the incredible EDM production makes for a match made in heaven! When separate worlds come together, it gives way for new ideas and fresh ways to convey a message. On a personal note, for a long time, I’d hear airy or Trap vocals over complex EDM compositions. I like it a lot. Emphatic, passionate guttural singing never goes out of style.

Tibasko – Alma (Submission)

The sound category that ‘Alma’ falls into isn’t part of the everyday news cycle, but it carries originality that I enjoy. Tibasko describes it as a “Jazz Deep House track infused with Latin-inspired percussions and vocals, inspired by the likes of Detroit Swindle and Chaos in the CBD.” I think it is an accurate description, so I didn’t want to add or take away from it. What I will say, on the personal note, is that it takes me to a time and era that I wasn’t born. Check out one of the title track from the group’s new EP below. The EP came out through Omusare Records on July 27.

French Braids – Inside Out featuring A-Sho (Submission)

If you’re looking for a bop that takes you back to the dancefloor when you’re on the way out from the club, ‘Inside Out’ would be the go-to. It would be hard to refrain from clapping your hands, nodding your head and stomping your feet, so don’t fight it. Let the music take over. Start the Canadian artist French Braid’s new genre-bending record below.

Audio Dope – Heat (Submission)

Without having to say much, the Switzerland producer entertains his listeners and doesn’t interrupt what you have on your plate. ‘Heat’ is a track that allows you to think. Clear thoughts, for me, is vital. As much as I love music, sometimes, it is invasive and interruptive. If you’re in the middle of something, Audio Dope’s music won’t get in the way.

Conspiracy Industries – Splat Party (Submission) (Bonus)

Get ready to dance the night away with your friends who dance better than you on any given day. It’s not about outshining your friends today, though. Burning calories is the only objective. ‘Splat Party’ should become one of the songs on your workout playlist, intended to get that sexy body you’ve always wanted. Stream Conspiracy Industries’ new song that showcases his growth.
