GOLDA – Villain

Voices are special. Therefore, hearing GOLDA’s vocals on the atmospheric ‘Villain’ makes me want to wake, bathe, and brave the cold. Here’s the latest track from the mysterious R&B group. There are two women pictured on the cover art. Maybe they are the producers?

Pasha – Talkin’ Bout

Good music is without gender. It is able to make you move at any given moment. Most importantly, for me, the messaging should make sense and be in line with what I’m doing in my life. I find that tunnel vision is the best way to get results. It’s not often I get to hear a woman on a mainstream beat. I’ve played it back many times. Pasha, a Clark Atlanta University graduate, is one of the most skilled rappers I’ve received a submission from on SubmitHub. Stream the clean version of ‘Talkin’ Bout’.

FromLater – Lonely Arcade featuring Élah

Toronto, Canada is now known for its smooth R&B/Soul soundscapes. FromLater encapsulates that vibe and propels what the legendary Sade is known for, into today’s music. I wouldn’t mind waking up to the pleasant howls on this record.

NTEIBINT & Σtella – A State Nearby

Imagine hearing the first thirty seconds of ‘A State Nearby’ in the morning. The Athenian producers, who make music separately, have made a song that matches the tempo of my walk. NTEIBINT & Σtella describe the track as a ‘sci-fi disco ballad, full of heartbreaks and mellow synth lines’. I agree.

GRIP – Portrait featuring Dani & Kaynellz

We die when we surrender. We die when we run. Those words are the harsh realities we are faced with as African-Americans in America. East Atlanta recording artist GRIP raps about police brutality, racial injustices, and people who have died as a result of the following: Sandra Bland, Eric Garner, Mike Brown, and more. It’s a song to be heard, especially as Black History Month comes close. GRIP, thank you for your work.

WNT-AL-N – Way Out (Bonus)

‘Way Out’ is a record that has a beat that has the power to bring you out of a funk. That’s why I had to add it to my morning playlist. Hear WNT-AL-N’s latest track.
