Last year in November, Quamina MP’s father died, tragically in a car accident. The heartbreaking incident reportedly happened on the road leading to Akosombo in the Eastern Region of Ghana. The artist, real name Emmanuel Ato Quamina Amonoo, survived the crash unscathed. Seemingly, to mourn his dad and express himself the best he can as a musician, he recorded music to share with the world. Putting how much his father means to him on record, today, you can expect to hear a blend of African Drill on ‘Sad’ featuring Kofi Mole and Afrobeats on ‘Why’ featuring Twitch4ever, and ‘Mensu’. Each song is a beautiful homage to his late father, Bongo. Stream the Accra, Ghana-based star’s new project named after his dad below.
