Ten seconds into Jay Daniel’s EP “Scorpio Rising” and I was already dancing around, feeling it. The EP has that nostalgic 90s House groove feel that always seems to move bodies regardless the setting. The vibe is pure, smooth, and easy. Jay’s use of base, rhythm and key are a mix made in a spirited, ethereal heaven. Literal “sound–cloud”. I’m now in day three of “vibing” to the 4-track release and have nothing but the greatest appreciation for the sounds emitting. This EP has seen some of my best dances moves, washed my dishes, organized my taxes and altogether wooed me.
