Def Jam signs Brooklyn rapper H-D

Brooklyn rapper H-D has officially joined the Def Jam family.

According to a post on H-D’s social media page on Wednesday, August 18, 2021, the rapper has signed a recording deal with Def Jam.

H-D posted a video of himself signing paperwork on Instagram. In the post, the rapper tagged Def Jam and Noah Sheer, executive vice president of rhythm, crossover, and dance promotion at Def Jam. He described his signing the label as “a beautiful moment.” He wrote:

Deal signed. Everyone within my circle made this possible. Love you all. What a beautiful moment. @universalmusicgroup @defjam + @noahsheer Varick Street + Complas Music Group. Beautiful thing.
