Today, the official Wizkid fan page shared that the global superstar’s album crossed fifty million streams on Spotify. The Nigerian musical king’s loyal fan base typically ate up the new body of music, but critics did not see progression or growth within this release, ‘More Love, Less Ego’. Nonetheless, like most work created by modern-day pop stars, their fans (and others) are curious (to know what the fuss is).

Teasing the full album release with the official music video for one of my favourite Wizkid singles to date, ‘Bad to Me’, he added a snippet of ‘Money & Love’ to the end. I won’t act like the roll-out strategy didn’t excite me.

If you haven’t heard the album yet, here’s your chance to play it. Stream ‘More Love, Less Ego’ now on your platform of choice.
