Metallica gives $100,000 to aid Venezuela Earthquake victims

Metallica has donated $100,000 to support earthquake relief efforts in Venezuela. The gift came through the band’s charitable organisation—All Within My Hands—working with humanitarian partner Direct Relief.
According to a statement on Metallica’s website, “Direct Relief is coordinating with agencies at regional and local levels to mobilise emergency medical aid and support search-and-rescue operations. Part of the funding is going toward deploying a Spain-based search-and-rescue organisation to help with on-the-ground efforts.”
The relief group is also preparing essential medical supplies typically needed after earthquakes, including first-aid materials, hygiene items for displaced families, medicines for acute injuries, and treatments for people whose ongoing medical care has been disrupted.
This isn’t the band’s only recent act of generosity. Just days earlier, Metallica donated to the Cardiff Foodbank after playing a show at Principality Stadium in Wales on June 28, with organisers noting the gift could help feed around 1,000 people.
