Meghan Trainor is a budding young talent who already has a nice résumé to show. Heavily influenced by a wide range of genres like Soca to Doo-Wop to Reggae, and coming from a musical family, Trainor definitely shows it through her music. She’s only twenty years of age but she’s credited with writing some hits for groups like Rascal Flats and R5 and it doesn’t stop there. Thanks to her ability to write and sing, she was recognized by music mogul L.A. Reid and landed a recording deal with Epic Records. Continuing her career, Trainor at this moment, has a catchy tune that listeners love. “All About That Bass” is Trainor’s latest hit that is making noise on charts overseas. If listeners love the song, they won’t be disappointed with music video either.
The music video for “All About That Bass” definitely fits it’s theme of self-love and was well directed. In my opinion, his video displayed some basic but cute choreography. Trainor’s video had plenty of dancing, bright and vivid colors. With this video, viewers may be reminded with a Katy Perry “Birthday” or Nicki Minaj “Super Bass”. Overall, the video looks great!
