As a successful person, have you ever been questioned about your superpower? In the eyes of others, it is a wonder to multitask and execute graciously, but as a creative individual with drive, you don’t know another way of life. For us, that’s what SaVannah’s motivational track ‘How I Do It’ symbolizes.
Today, the official video for the cutting-edge singer’s new video ‘How I Do It’ is out through Roc Nation’s new indie distribution company, Equity. If this is your first time reading about it, in short, it is a means for musicians to maintain control of their releases; benefit from optimal reach. Overseen by Rel Carter, SaVannah’s forthcoming project is one to consider. Respectfully, not just because of the Carter-ear and development, but her unique inspiration and foundation are what makes her stand out from the pack of artists. I’ve been blessed to see, meet and help, so many artists along their journies. Based on my experience, I can say confidently say SaVannah is of a different cloth. Not to mention, she has a vocal range similar to lyric contralto legend, Brandy.
Also, SaVannah is a mother. Motherhood comes with challenges and apt demands. Thankfully, we are in a new era. Young musicians are finding healthy balances to continue to pursue their dreams and also take care of their little ones. Finally, we can do both! From what I’ve seen, SaVannah has plans for longevity, a great team who understands her sound and vision and is someone who knows what she wants. I believe she will find her rhythm and conquer!
This week, SaVannah visited GRUNGECAKE for a roundtable discussion with Eddy Kenzo, RoQy TyRaiD, Rel Carter, the Loyalty Media Group staff, and I, Richardine Bartee. It’s a dynamic conversation about the music business from the viewpoints of the main attractions (recording artists) and the people behind-the-scenes (managers, publicists, A&Rs alike). Stay tuned for its release next week!
In the meantime, watch the 90s-inspired neon light-tinged visual for the Contemporary R&B track filmed by Pablo Fant now; directed-engineered by SaVannah, Pablo Fant and Devin White. We’re sure the catchy hook will remain in your head throughout the day.
