Have you heard the new Kanye rough record that surfaced online recently? It’s called ‘Alien (Space X)’, and to me, it mirrors the rhythmic pattern of Chief Keef’s ‘I Don’t Like’ with a flex ass flow paired with signature Ye elements. We think the track is from the unreleased ‘Yandhi’ album, which has yet to see the light of day. I don’t know when we’re getting it, but if this is the sonic direction for it, it sounds great so far.
It’s always a good time for some new music by Kanye West, no matter how much he fumbles as a viable individual in our society and our community. Ahead of his marriage and public mayhem, we fell in love with Kanye’s creativity, which happens to be when he seems to be the purest and the most edited version of himself. Look, none of us is perfect, and Kanye West never claims to be. I believe he aims to figure life out, openly and publicly, a thing that most people will never have to experience.
As you’re reading this, I know you’re probably wondering: Do I agree with everything he has said? No, I do not, but I want to believe that I understand his ever-evolving mindset and how his thoughts may form. ‘Alien (Space X’) is one of three tracks to surface on the world wide web this month. ‘New Body’ featuring Nicki Minaj and Ty Dolla $ign, and ‘The Storm’ featuring Ty Dolla $ign and the late slain recording artist and young culture shifter, XXXTentacion.
