Fivio Foreign and Sheff G, two of my favourite new-age Brooklyn rappers, teamed up for a new song called ‘Waiting’. Two days ago, the rappers shared the official music video filmed in their birthplace. The happy moment drew a substantial crowd, including fellow local star Scarlip. At the beginning of the video, Sheff G talks on the phone with a young woman whom he calls his sister. Then, the video progresses. Although, the ‘Moody’ performer isn’t physically present, shirts with his face on them, his gold plaque for ‘No Subsurban, Pt 2’, his label’s logo and Sleepy Hallow’s gold plaque for ‘Tip Toe’ are, too. Great John, known for his massive contributions to the Winners Circle sound, produced the track. Here’s the official music video for ‘Waiting’.
