Eleutheromaniac updates are in order.
Last week, Neon Hitch called to update me about her tour, the Yard Sale Tour. In October, the eclectic British beauty and talent kicked off her first headlining tour at the Indiegogo offices in San Francisco and now, she’s ready to share her debut album “Eleutheromaniac” with the world. Neon gushes details about the tour, her lovely fans and the status of her album:
“The tour was incredible. My favourite part was being able to meet the fans and seeing their response. It’s different from having it on the radio to when you’re singing it onstage into their eyes. You’re getting instant gratification as an artist. It’s really a beautiful thing. I had a magical tour bus — the WeRNeon bus — the cut bus I found on the side of the road in Los Angeles. I was bringing fans on the bus. It was an experience for all involved.”
On her favourite city to tour in, favourite song to perform
I actually had a great time in Chicago. One of my favourite shows I’ve ever had was in Chicago, for some reason. The energy was great. Webster Hall Studio (in New York) was fantastic energy and the last stop on the tour. It was probably my favourite but I guess because it’s the last night, they give it they’re all.
Well, there’s a few. I love performing “Where’s Ya Mama?” It just has a great energy live. It’s a new song so I like testing out new songs. One of my other favourites is a song called, “Eleutheromaniac,” which is the album title and I wrote the song specifically for my fans. it was really special to do that one live. It’s great energy onstage.
Neon Hitch has not yet shared a release date for her highly-anticipated album, Eleutheromaniac. Currently, she’s running Indiegogo campaign and she believes that “obviously, the more money she raises, the more she can do” so help her by donating via this link.
“I’m ready to go. Obviously, there are costs. Producers need to be paid and all the rest of that but the music is there and it’s there. I’m just excited to share it with my fans.”
Neon has two videos in the works that she’ll share with us sooner than later. She didn’t share for which songs but we hope the videos are for “Wall Street” or “Freedom” or “Sparks.” She’s going to make a stop in New Orleans soon to visit her trombone player. He’s going to put some finishing touches on some songs.
Message to her fans
It’s been great meeting all of my fans, so thank you to everyone who came out and got involved. I think they had a glimpse of what’s to come and I’m really excited. I feel like the fans loved the new music so it was a success as far as I’m concerned. Tell everyone about the Indiegogo. Spread the word. Let’s do this. Freedom.
