Watch African artists ECool, Mayorkun, Zlatan, and Dremo in animated visual for ‘Onome’

As I watched the animated video for DJ ECool’s ‘Onome’ featuring Mayorkun, Zlatan, and Dremo, all I could think about was how an illustrated MOH danced in the video for ‘Belinda’. It’s still one of my favourite videos to date. I watch it when I want to laugh. Seemingly, this time, the narrative is similar, showing entanglement or web of relationships with one woman and several men. Smitten by her presence and in competition for her love, some men shower her with money, but it doesn’t seem to be enough to lock her down. Whoever she is, I like her. She represents the women in the world, who know what they want out of life. It just so happens, it isn’t one of them. To see how it all turns out, watch the visual below for the ‘NewSide’ EP single.
