More than five years ago, Sade Wilkins and I crossed paths at an industry event. To be honest, most things from my professional past are a blur. Miss Wilkins, on the other hand, is unforgettable. Notably, as you’ll hear in the interview, I kicked off her writing career. It started off with an interview with Boyfriend. Next, she interviewed Madchild. At the beginning of our work relationship, Wilkins would handle marketing and correspond with publicists, artists, and others for me.
To go in-depth, Wilkins and I discuss what I think will happen this year, niche rappers, Cardi B, love language, and which artists I didn’t think would make it.
