Taking a more upbeat and trendy route than his fellow artists to speak his truth, Denver’s Trey Triple A is not coy about his feelings towards racial injustices and the mistreatment of Black people. On the record, he talks about fair rights, how he feels about the police due to the unfortunate events that keep happening in this country, and more. If you didn’t know it, Trey Triple A is Black and he’s proud—so proud that he decided to write a song about it. It’s called ‘Unapologetically Black’.
