California’s rising artist Roe brings a sexy 90s vibe with ‘I Like’: Watch the visual

As someone who is a sucker for everything reminiscent of the 90s, it’s no surprise that I’m in love with single ‘I Like’, by Venice, California-native and rising star Roe. Roe is no stranger to the music game, having written for the likes of Mary J Blige, Usher, and Teyana Taylor, but her ascension into the spotlight is one that’s long overdue. Her debut single, equipped with a classy interpolation of the 1991 hit single ‘I Like the Way (Kissing Game)’ by the group Hi-Five, is elegant and sexy. The mid-tempo groove is catchy and fun. The video emanates beauty and femininity, as we see Roe in all her glory. Be on the look out for her EP, coming this Fall.
