As you were sleeping, Paris Jackson put out a new record called ‘Let Down’, announced her signing to Republic Records, and her debut album ‘Wilted’ (out November 13). If you are new to the chat, Paris Jackson (22) is the late legend Michael Jackson’s daughter. The song is about falling in love, disappointments, and more. The music video treatment is described as a “nostalgic vignette punctuated by gentle psychedelic wonder”, and the wardrobe is a nod to the late fashion icon Alexander McQueen’s unique designs. In the Meredith Alloway directed visual, she wore an archive piece from McQueen’s Spring/Summer 2007.

I feel so many emotions. I’m excited, I’m nervous, mostly grateful and happy…The freedom to create, not being told what to sing and how to sing it, what to write; it’s awesome. It’s a gift, it’s a blessing”, Paris shared about the release of ‘Let Down’.

She is beautiful and sounds incredible. Watch the official video for the record written by her, and produced by Manchester Orchestra’s Andy Hull below.
