Macy Gray, a decorated creative who was presented to the world as an R&B singer, just released the official video for ‘Sugar Daddy’. The lead single is from her forthcoming tenth studio album titled, Ruby. Displaying tongue-in-cheek lyrics, co-written by the incredible Meghan Trainor, its visual takes inspiration from Diana Ross’ portrayal of Billie Holiday (in the 1972 biographical classic, Lady Sings the Blues). Aptly, Evan Ross, son of Diana Ross, co-stars with Macy Gray as the owner of the nightclub. Shortly after the release of her album (September 7), Macy Gray will tour in Europe. In the meantime, check out the music video below. Then, have a gander at the tour dates.
