FEMME Wins “Best New Emerging International Artist”, Coachella Debut

With an undeniable talent for writing infectious pop tunes, British Indie-Pop artist FEMME has returned to North America, adding “award-winner” to her increasing accolades. At the annual “International Music Industry Awards,” which were held at the Roosevelt Hotel during MUSEXPO last week, FEMME was named “Best New Emerging International Artist,” an award voted on by thousands of professional music industry executives across all sectors of global music.

As the award-winner, FEMME, her dancers “The Bullet Girls,” her DJ, and band performed live at the gala, which began the first of a handful of live show dates on the west coast, including appearances at Coachella’s Heineken Dome, Los Angeles’ Bootleg Bar and The Hard Rock Café in San Diego.

West Coast Tour Dates

04/15 – Bootleg Bar – Los Angeles, California
04/17 – Hard Rock Hotel – San Diego, California
04/20 – Heineken Dome – Coachella Festival

Earlier this year, FEMME released a double A-side of “Feverboy / Heartbeat” in the U.S. The tracks are available digitally and via limited edition pink heart-shaped vinyl.

As with all of her works, both “Fever Boy” and “Heartbeat” are all-FEMME, as the creative songstress writes and records each track, produces and directs her videos and designs all associated artwork. FEMME first appeared on the music scene as the front-woman for critically acclaimed Ultraísta, formed by Radiohead producer and one half of Atoms For Peace, Nigel Godrich.

“Fever Boy / Heartbeat” is available now on iTunes, Spotify & Amazon. Watch the official video for “Fever Boy” via this link.
