South African artists AKA and Costa Titch share visual for ‘Super Soft’: Watch

2021 has been filled with moments of pain for AKA, but he seems to be back on his feet with the release of his new album: You’re Welcome. Capetown-native rapper AKA isn’t alone on this project. He worked with fellow South African artist Costa Titch on this one. Now that I think about it, Titch, the Nelspruit, Mpumalanga-native rapper, didn’t have an easy 2020. He was accused of cultural appropriation, but one of the biggest, if not the biggest South African rapper Cassper Nyovest came to his rescue on Twitter, giving his word that Titch is “a real one”.

With all of that back story in mind, most popular people go through everything in the public eye, and it isn’t easy. In North America, some people can’t come back from what they’ve endured publicly. However, I think the musical duo’s talents and sincerity keep them afloat. When it comes to their latest single, if you want to hear a song with a good beat and easy to learn lyrics, turn on ‘Super Soft’ by the South African artists. The track is from their joint project ‘You’re Welcome’, which dropped on September 10. I’ve checked out the project, and it is well-produced/well-packaged. If you like what you hear, give the eight-track project a listen.
