Life has its ups and downs, but Detroit rapper, Kale Nelson, seems to be keeping a positive outlook. For his birthday he decided to celebrate by gifting his listeners with some new music, dropping the ‘Feeling Blessed’ EP. On this EP, Kale shows his versatility from melodies to more aggressive flows, all while maintaining his unquestionable lyrical ability. Throughout the album, he talks about the journey of being an artist and choosing to focus on the music while claiming and confirming his place at the top. A personal standout is the title song ‘FEELING BLESSED’’ where Kale uses his witty lyricism to give listeners the chance to understand the blessings of the present that he is experiencing while allowing us to get a look into his struggles and the stresses of his past. Definitely a great project, give it a listen.
