Wizkid’s Tiny Desk performance cancelled for now

Unfortunately due to COVID-19, Wizkid had to cancel his Tiny Desk performance. The travel restrictions from/to the United Kingdom are the reason. NPR released a statement ahead of the scheduled performance (See below). His appearance was for the company’s Black History Month concert. Other performances from 2 Chainz, Bartee Strange, Davido, Giveon, Kirk Franklin, Sampha the Great, and more are part of the month’s celebration.

Due to the recently imposed Covid-related travel restrictions to/from the UK, Wizkid regrettably had to cancel his participation in the Tiny Desk Black History Month celebration. Wizkid apologizes to NPR, his fans and looks forward to performing on Tiny Desk soon.
