The music world is in shock after the sudden death of American rapper Luci4, real name James Dear, who died at just twenty-three-years-old. The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner confirmed Dear passed away on February 22, 2026, at a friend’s house in Los Angeles, though the exact cause of death has not yet been released.
