USA imposes election-related visa restrictions on Nigerians

Earlier today, the United States imposed restrictions upon entry for Nigerians responsible for undermining the democratic process during the previous election.

According to the US Secretary of State, the restrictions apply to those who have been involved in the intimidation of voters through threats and physical violence, vote-count manipulation, and other unethical practices undermining Nigeria’s democratic process.
