After coming to her senses, Chicago-bred star Tink finally moves past a mortifying relationship that never served her. Over the slow R&B beat, the ‘Gang’ singer lists how many unforgiven times she allowed the guy to play in her face. Thankfully, Tink—real name Trinity Laure’Ale Home—is no longer dealing with that male child. Based on the comprehensive wholehearted lyrics, the man preferred to go Dutch on everything including living expenses. Throwing more salt on the slug, she revealed his underwhelming sexual performance.
Tink says about the song, “‘Overrated’ is about recognising your value, even when others overlook it. With this new album, I want people to feel seen, to feel understood, and to connect with the honesty in the music. ‘Fuck, Marry, Kill’ is bold, yet vulnerable, and it reflects the ups and downs of love and life. I’m excited for my fans and anyone getting to know me to experience this project.”
