Chicago’s Tink releases new single ‘Overrated’, illuminating terrible lovers: Listen
It’s giving gossip-with-your-homegirls-to-heal.

After coming to her senses, Tink finally moves past a mortifying relationship that never served her. Over the slow R&B production, the ‘Mine’ singer lists the times she allowed him to play in her face. Thankfully, she is no longer dealing with that male child. Based on the comprehensive lyrics, he likes to go Dutch on living expenses and his sexual performance is underwhelming.
Tink says about the song, “‘Overrated’ is about recognising your value, even when others overlook it. With this new album, I want people to feel seen, to feel understood, and to connect with the honesty in the music. ‘Fuck, Marry, Kill’ is bold, yet vulnerable, and it reflects the ups and downs of love and life. I’m excited for my fans and anyone getting to know me to experience this project.”
Tink concluded 2025 with acclaimed live shows including performing both weekends at Coachella Festival, and supported Keyshia Cole on her The Way It Is 20th Anniversary Tour. She has also received an RIAA Platinum certification for her 2020 single ‘Bottom Bitch’, which surpassed one million units sold in the United States, solidifying her continued impact and commercial success.
Now, listen to the talented artist’s latest record below. It is a part of her forthcoming album ‘Fuck, Marry, Kill’, set to release on April 10, 2026.
