Stream The LOX’s new song ‘Isley Money’
Late last month (November 26), The LOX released a new record titled ‘Isley Money’ via their independent label, D-Block. For the new track, Styles P raps about his life before owning a fresh juice spot and having drug dealer dreams, Sheek Louch covers his journey as a young man hustling crack and making their town proud, and Jadakiss gloats about building your brand up and having most of the culture behind him in his signature raspy voice. The star rappers once signed to Sean “Puffy” Combs or Diddy are taking time to focus on their joint and separate releases. In the interim of that release, listen to the record below, which samples the silky and smooth vocals from legendary R&B group The Isley Brothers. It’s the first record that The LOX released in four years. If attached to an album, it would be their fifth studio album.

The LOX affirm their dedication to each other with latest single ‘Loyalty and Love’: Listen
Oftentimes in music, we see groups break up, come together, break up again, and sometimes never speak. Deeper than music, however, is the bond shared between The LOX, as demonstrated on their latest release ‘Loyalty and Love’. As Style P raps on the hook, ‘Homies is family, but not blood, we came up together out the mud’, the sense of their bond is rooted in their struggle and the progress they made together as they all grew to create the legacy that The LOX share. Styles P, Sheek Louch, and Jadakiss hop in the song to share their perspective and experiences with fake love from those who just are present to take advantage of them, in contrast to a real love that is willing to put life on the line in the name of loyalty. After many years of success, The LOX proves to be the embodiment of ‘Love and Loyalty’.
