Listen to TGUT and PsychoYP’s brand new collaboration ‘System’
[media-credit name=”Spotify” link=”https://open.spotify.com/album/055nOXgofQYv5z4l1qsuX4″ width=640 align=”center”]
[/media-credit]Yesterday, TGUT and Abuja’s legendary rapper PsychoYP released a song, ‘System’. The rapping vocalist covers disrupting the apparatus, skipping town, smoking high-grade marijuana, and where he’s from over the Virginia-born artist-producer and creative director’s hazy production. If you aren’t familiar with the lime green-haired creative, COMPLEX UK called his ‘SKYLINE: Kingston’ project “The New Sound of Jamaica.”
Beyond his album placements, TGUT has crafted the sound for Audiomack’s ‘Bless The Booth’ series, charging up mega-popular freestyles by Megan thee Stallion, G Herbo, Wyclef, and the late King Von. He has also opened tours for Young Thug and 21 Savage and worked as an official DJ for Lil Pump and Ferg before touring the United Kingdom with The Kid LAROI in 2021.
Extending his influence, he served as the Executive Producer of Audiomack’s ‘Trap Symphony’, which has paired Roddy Ricch, Burna Boy, Chief Keef, Rod Wave, and more with a live orchestra for headline-making viral performances.

Watch Nigeria’s Azanti and PsychoYP’s visualiser for the self-reflecting ‘I Know’
[media-credit name=”Instagram” link=”https://www.instagram.com/p/C69RCuAJCKL/?img_index=1″ width=819 align=”center”]
[/media-credit]Today, Nigerian artists Azanti and PsychoYP shared the official visualiser to their short yet suspenseful track, ‘I Know’, with familiar American pop sensibilities for the production choice. In the fresh and appealing visual, Toronto-based R&B singer-songwriter Azanti dances wildly in a cowboy-themed outfit as his frequent collaborator PsychoYP opens the track, rapping about fighting his demons, the pressure of it all, and sadly lacking peace of mind. For his contribution, the ‘Time Difference’ songster chooses to focus on and save himself because he isn’t ready to be in love, a fair self-assessment.

[media-credit name=”Instagram” link=”https://www.instagram.com/p/C69RCuAJCKL/?img_index=1″ width=819 align=”center”]
[/media-credit]Six hours ago, Nigerian artists Azanti and PsychoYP unleashed the official music video to their new single ‘Naija Funk’, a new, experimental sound for the Apex Village/Def Jam Recordings frequent collaborators. The musical pair from Abuja, Nigeria, started promoting the jam with nearly 500,000 streams on Spotify three weeks ago with a visualiser and the audio on digital streaming platforms. Taking his alleged regret poolside, the Toronto-based rising artist sings, “I shoulda done you better,” something many babes would love to hear whilst (or after) dealing with a jackass. For Psycho YP’s verse, the ‘Long Way from Home’ artist raps about putting that shit on, linking with baddies abroad and protecting his music “I do not need this shit leaking (no lie).” Watch the new video below for the Ayk Beats production. You may get encouraged to play Monopoly, eat chicken, and spray your peers with water guns in this heat.
