  • Premiere: Canada’s rising singer-songwriter Myles Castello shares visualiser for ‘Blue’

In a cheeky way to promote his new single, Myles Castello shares the official visualiser for ‘Blue’. Throughout the video, the artist reveals how his life has been affected by COVID-19, making life difficult to manage. From the strain on relationships to furloughs and the closure of small business, we are all affected. Castello shows he’s human and relatable. Not letting a global pandemic stop him from getting work done, he multitasks between conversation with his manager, creative team, and his girlfriend. It is those types of skills that will take anyone further along.

After he purchases pizza for the love of his life, he heads to social media to promote his new single.

Watch it below exclusively on GRUNGECAKE. Then, tune into our live interview with the Warner Music Canada artist on our Instagram at 7 PM EST tonight. The visual will be available everywhere at 7.

  • Toronto singer-songwriter Myles Castello drops highly-anticipated emotive single ‘Blue’: Listen

Myles Castello has been working overtime during this quarantine! After hosting a successful and creative virtual tour on Instagram, Castello has answered his fan’s call to release the full version of the song he previewed for them, ‘Blue’, and he has done just that. As if we needed more reasons to miss somebody we care about, ‘Blue’ is an emotional track that talks about a lost love. We all can relate to the situation; hurting somebody you love then missing them when they leave. Myles knows how to make a hot song, no doubt, and this is it. The lyrics are emotional, quotable, all the makings of the memorable hit, while the mid-tempo beat is bound to keep you enticed. We’re always ready to see what Myles Castello has coming next, and this track makes us even more anxious.

  • Quarantine Live: Canada’s Myles Castello to host virtual tour from his basement

Artists have been getting extremely creative in making sure that their fans are being serviced during this tough time in our world where pretty much everyone is being encouraged to stay home! Last night, Fox broadcast a star-studded living room concert hosted by iHeartRadio. DJ D-Nice has been keeping us dancing with his HomeSchool Club Quarantine on Instagram Live. PJ Morton and John Legend have also been hosting mini-concerts on Instagram Live. Although the world may be in turmoil, the need for music that calms us will never go away.

In comes Canada’s talented Myles Castello! Myles has been creatively fulfilling tour dates and satisfying fans by having an interesting take on the virtual concert concept. The artist has been doing an IG Live takeover on the accounts of the various venues that he would have blessed had we not been under a quarantine order. His concerts will take place from his home studio in his basement, giving viewers an intimate, more personal feel. The shows began last night in Toronto, Canada’s Exclaim venue and continue tonight in Chicago’s Bottom Lounge and tomorrow in New York’s Pianos club.
