  • Kamiyada and Trippythakid release music video for ‘Giddy Up’: Watch

When talking about who the next big artists in rap will be, it is very hard to avoid these two names. Kamiyada is an artist that, in many ways, paved the way for many “underground” artist that has touched the mainstream. Regardless of many artists trying to imitate and replicate Kamiyada’s style, his slightly distorted vocal delivery on top of fast-paced distorted bass-heavy beats has remained authentic. Trippythakid is an artist that has also been a pioneer for the underground/internet music scene with his most popular music video for ‘Leedle Leedle Lee’ sitting at 6.9 million views. Despite the two artists being a part of the same “Midnight Society” collective, we don’t get a lot of collaboration from the two artists. Needless to say. This is an exciting video and song for fans of the two.

Every time I have listened to the track since the release, I have caught myself dancing to the catchy hook and even the verses. This song is fun. Like, start to hit the ‘Dougie’ and ‘Jerk’ type of fun! Listeners are going to want to party with these two guys. The visuals were done by the talented “Midnight Society” music video director, Stevenjets and “Midnight Society” artist, Braxton Knight. When you see the visual, it makes even more sense why all these guys work so well together. They are what the internet needs and wants. It will be no time before people are walking around catching themselves wanting to ‘Dougie’ and yell out “I can F**K YOUR FRIENDS TOO” with Kamiyada and Trippythakid.
