According to this PEOPLE.com article, Kanye West released a song on X called ‘Lonely Roads Still Go to Sunshine’ featuring his eldest daughter, North West, on the track with the world-famous publicly disgraced billionaire entertainer and icon Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs, his son King Combs and a talented Yeezy artist named Jasmine Williams.

Apparently, in a now-deleted post on X (formerly known as Twitter), screenshots of his conversation with her ex-wife and mother of his children, Kim Kardashian. In those posts, Kardashian explained she trademarked their firstborn’s name to “protect her” and tried to stop the song from being released with the fifty-five-year-old who’s currently in jail awaiting trial linked to alleged federal sex crimes. Yes, to the regular person, Kanye’s behaviour could be seen as erratic, crass, hateful and divisive like other famous figures he’s publicly linked to. However, I agree with Kim Kardashian. North West is a child, and whilst her father may believe his friend/mentor is innocent, I can honestly say I don’t think it was the right time to do that — only because she is underage and one of her parents, who has studied law and has been scrutinised and praised [by the media] herself isn’t on board with the seemingly careless action.

Controversy aside, North West (11) is getting even better as an artist with her multiple award-winning, multiplatinum-selling and iconic father’s guidance.
