Ghanaian rapper Sarkodie, who has captured the hearts of many in his home country and beyond, released a six-track extended play dubbed ‘The Championship’ on May 24. For the project with the fire as a focus of its cover art, the Tema-native awarded superstar who likens himself to America’s successful rapper and billionaire JAY Z covers themes of understanding his worth and increasing his price (‘Confetti’), aspirations of selling out London’s O2 Arena (‘Brag’), and last but not least, devotion on the MOG Beatz production for this release in English and his native tongue, Twi.
