Party Supplies & The Fat Jew In “Working Out”

Fat Jew

What happens when actor / entertainer / dionysian life coach Fabrizio Goldstein (aka The Fat Jew) puts his buttery touch on Party Supplies’ anthemic “Working Out”? A gleefully obscene epic about life, love, and jail that somehow finds emotional truth in absurd, wildly immature toilet humor. You’ll get a little verklempt.

Party Supplies’ acclaimed debut LP Tough Love (a Pitchfork favourite and one of Rolling Stone’s Best Dance Albums Of 2013) will be re-released by Fool’s Gold on vinyl and CD this spring with bonus remixes by The Knocks, Lazerdisk and more. Meanwhile, the prolific Brooklyn duo continue to drop newly recorded tracks and demos on their Soundcloud and will be taking the stage at Irving Plaza this Friday (1/10) and Saturday (1/11) to perform tracks from their hit Blue Chips mixtapes with iconic rapper Action Bronson.
