Nigerian star releases hot new Amapiano-infused anthem ‘Canada’

Nigerian singer-songwriter and record producer Lojay releases a new Amapiano single that has fans across the continent full of excitement. This new record ‘Canada’ is his second official single of the year, and comes off the heels of his recent single ‘Leader’, and amazing feature on Ayra Star’s ‘19 & Dangerous’ deluxe album.

On ‘Canada’ Lojay enlists popular South African DJ and producer DJ Maphorisa, and Kabza De Small who both deliver impressive contributions to the potential hit record. ‘Canada’ brings a fresh and melodic vibe that fuses with well-aligned percussions that seamlessly merge with Lojay’s signature vocals. DJ Maphorisa and Kaza De Small also render their Amapiano thrills to the song by infusing the genre in the song through their expertise and stellar production.

Lojay has continuously improved on his craft and doled out music that strengthens his stance and places him right at the center of the Afro-fusion conversation. His last single, ‘Leader’ amassed critical acclaim and recognition from several radio stations and fans worldwide, and garnered support from BBC Radio 1’s Jack Saunders, BBC Radio 1Xtra’s DJ Target, and Apple Music 1’s Dotty, to name a few.

The Nigerian singer and record producer is no stranger to commercial success though. Since his debut, Lojay has garnered a highly impressive reputation, and his critically-acclaimed single ‘Monalisa’ featuring Nigerian producer Sarz and Chris Brown raked in an astounding 210 million combined streams and views, quickly hitting the top of international music charts and conversations.
