Kathy Griffin files for divorce from husband Randy Bick
As the couple approached the fourth year mark of their marriage, Kathy Griffin filed for divorce, TMZ learns. On Thursday, the New York Times best-selling comedian cited irreconcilable differences as the reason for the end of their relationship. She listed December 22 and the day the couple separated. The pair started dating in 2011 after meeting at a food and wine festival. When she and Bick called it quits the first time, Griffin took to Twitter [at the time] to make the announcement and poke a little fun.
“God help me, but I’m gonna be one of those people who announces a break up,” Griffin wrote at the time. “There, now those jerks at TMZ wont get the story first. Go back to your bootlicking, @HarveyLevinTMZ.”
Ironically, TMZ broke the news about the two-time Emmy and GRAMMY Award-winning comedian filing for divorce.
