It’s been too long since Hudson Mohawke graced us with an album. Today, the Scotland-born Los Angeles-based legend makes his loyal fans proud with his latest effort, ‘Cry Sugar’. On his fourth studio album, HudMo, we are showered with cinematic sounds meant for the sci-fi category (‘Stump’), uplifting compositions that implement the early elements of Hip-Hop/Rap music to make us dance (‘Dance Forever), and sample-heavy production with wonky bits that made us fall in love with evil geniuses like Kanye West, J Dilla, and Madlib (‘Bow’). Stream the spanking new Warp Records project below. It’s right on time as the world seems ready to get back out there and want to live life to the fullest.
