Following ‘Revival’ with Sarkodie, Ghanaian artist EL shares ‘Azonto Gaza’: Listen

Intentionally looking to bring more awareness to Ghana’s Azonto sound in 2020, EL released self-produced follow-up to last week’s release with Sarkodie. Ironically sampling ‘The Boss’ by James Brown and released a day before what would have been his eighty-seventh birthday, ‘Azonto’ is a booty-shaking anthemic vibe. Taking a comedic approach with lines like “feeling myself lines like my car keys are lost,” it vastly differs from Wizkid’s ‘Azonto’, which focused more on the dance craze. Listen to track below.
