Watch Chicago artist Lil King’s official video for harmonic street anthem ‘White Chalk’
I can’t help but think about Lil Durk when I hear Lil King.
[media-credit name=”Courtesy” width=1200 align=”none”]
[/media-credit]Two weeks ago, Lil King, a new artist from the Windy City, released the official video to ‘White Chalk’, a catchy song about withholding the details about recent purchases, flexing his assets without disclosing full value, and the depth and potency of his diary. When his lady friend arrives, the two count money and sit on the sofa to relax and enjoy quality time. Look at the short music video to see how he’s living below — directed by SharpestSniper.

If you like what you heard, dive into his 2024 release ‘King Reap (Deluxe)’. It’s seventeen records that tell the melodic rapper’s story featuring themes of loyalty and selflessness (‘Grace’), what he doesn’t tolerate (‘Not Safe’), and more.

Watch North Carolina’s multi-faceted star Morray’s ‘Mud Baby’ live performance video
He’s back from a four-year hiatus.

In a room (perhaps) made to resemble the Union Street station in Brooklyn, New York, GRAMMY-nominated artist Morray performs the new single, ‘Mud Baby’.
[youtube=https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f1684kS4bTE&h=315]
On the track, the Fayetteville legend sings about going through rough times, being a rockstar to his kids, and his reality. On the rest of the tape, the artist, boasting over 200 million views on YouTube, covers backstabbers in his busy life on ‘Take Me Serious’ and going hard without trying on ‘FTA (Failure to Appear)’. Check out the performance video below to watch the stadium-booked star deliver his deep lyrics in front of a dark room juxtaposing flickering lights.

[/media-credit]This week, Milwaukee rapper-songwriter Chicken P released his exciting new body of music called ‘Lit 4 Ever’. From the opening track (‘YN’) until its end (‘Buss One 101, Pt 2’), the star sheds light on personal relationships with a young woman with good credit who wants to buy a car for him (she has good credit) and more women (‘5 of Em’). Some standout moments include my top pick ‘My YN’ (“I’m just like Melly/I’ll kill my brother”), ‘Sippin’ Rent’, where he raps (“You niggas think they bosses/But they don’t even own shit” and ‘Like I’m Mitch’ (“I don’t want no steak, bitch/Make me a sandwich”) for the ten-track project. Check out the Midwest champion’s raw high-tempo effort—destined for hitting the local club or driving around the city with a fresh haircut and a new outfit below. It’s out now through Really Rich Empire and 10K Records.

Nutella creator Francesco Rivella, 97, passes away
[media-credit name=”Jam Press” width=816 align=”none”]
[/media-credit]Francesco Rivella, the Italian chemist celebrated as the “Father of Nutella”, passed away on February 14, 2025, at the age of 97. His death coincides with the tenth anniversary of Michele Ferrero’s passing, the founder of the Ferrero company. Born in Barbaresco, Italy, in 1927, Rivella earned his degree in bromatological chemistry from the University of Turin. At 25, he began his career with Ferrero in 1952, joining the company’s “chemistry room”, where he played a pivotal role in developing new confectionery products.
Rivella’s most notable achievement was transforming the original hazelnut and chocolate paste, Giandujot, into a creamy spread. This evolution led to the creation of SuperCrema in 1951 and eventually Nutella in 1964. Throughout his tenure, he collaborated closely with Michele Ferrero, contributing to the innovation and perfection of several products that have become household names.
Beyond his professional endeavors, Rivella was a friend of writer Primo Levi and served as president of the Order of Chemists of Piedmont. After retiring, he dedicated himself to fruit farming and the traditional Italian sport of pallapugno in Alba. He is survived by three sons, a daughter, and seven grandchildren. His funeral was held in Alba, and he was laid to rest in his hometown of Barbaresco.

Drake to headline all three nights of Wireless Festival 2025 in London’s Finsbury Park
PARYTNEXTDOOR, Summer Walker, Burna Boy, and Vybz Kartel have been announced as special guests.
[media-credit name=”Courtesy” width=628 align=”none”]
[/media-credit]In the morning, we received an email sharing the exciting news about Drake’s unprecedented headlining shows spanning three days in London at Wireless Festival’s twentieth-anniversary edition. The global superstar will perform three different set lists to give proper attention to his vast catalogue of genre-blending chart-topping hits! We haven’t been to a music festival all year, but we feel this one would be the one to go down in the books. When’s the last time you’ve seen something like this happen? Never, and that’s why it’s exhilarating in concept.
If you are a fan of Big Boy’s Neighborhood show, you’ve probably heard about Tariq Cheriff’s interview. During the interview, the festival co-owner discussed wanting to book Drake as a headliner for Rolling Loud for many years without success. Surprisingly, Cheriff explained that he wanted to do something similar for Drake (like this Wireless Festival deal), but allegedly it wasn’t enticing enough according to his team. Explicitly, the founder shared that a European festival may steal the

“I heard a certain festival in Europe is about to steal our idea.”

Before then, Cheriff said, “I feel like Drake’s ducking us. I got no beef with Drake. I like Drake. I think he’s a great artist… We’ve been trying to book Drake forever. We even offered Drake three nights of Drake once.”
