Indie R&B artist BOSCO drops sultry new single ‘Attention’: Listen
As we are all quarantined and taking this time to expand our music library and enjoying all the latest drops from artists, BOSCO drops some true R&B heat. Her original sound shines through in her latest single ‘Attention’, and honestly, IT gives me a Brandy-esque feel. I was really impressed while listening. I consider myself an R&B snob, and I was thoroughly fulfilled while listening to this track! I was impressed by BOSCO’s vocal–at this point, being able to sing well isn’t enough. Something about your voice needs to stand out and I really enjoyed the distinction of BOSCO’s voice.

Tropical House duo Paco Versailles unleash dance-worthy single ‘Black and White’: Listen
Paco Versailles is the phenomenal new collaboration between renowned flamenco guitarist and composer Vahagni and songwriter and producer Ryan Merchant of Capital Cities. The pair crossed paths when Vahagni joined Capital Cities on tour as lead guitarist in 2016 and soon bonded over their shared appreciation for Spanish culture. Their name is derived from their biggest influences; Spanish guitarist Paco De Lucia and French electronic artists Daft Punk and Air, both products of the Parisian suburb of Versailles. Together, Paco Versailles produces a blend of Pop, House, and Flamenco elements to create a genre they call ‘Dancemenco’.
Their newest single, ‘Black and White’ is an infectiously danceable tune that fans can’t seem to shake. The instrumentals include Latin guitar rhythms, electronic elements and an up-tempo beat. The lyrics are simple but impactful as they describe a journey from birth until death. Ryan’s dreamy vocals and playful harmonies laid on top of the groovy beat results in a Dancemenco hit.

Swiss singer-songwriter Sam Himself shares wondrous visual for ‘Slow Drugs’: Watch
With a breathtakingly alluring visual component, Swiss singer-songwriter Sam Himself brings his latest single ‘Slow Drugs’ to life.
When we look at it, we see it as an abstract representation of someone’s emotions and frustrations. It’s like when you ask how your spouse is doing, and they tell you they are “fine”, but they aren’t. They are secretly battling with depression and anxiety. Wanting to numb those feelings, the person in pain might take “something strong” to soften the blows of their realities.
The New York City-based artist tries to explain what inspired the song:
‘Slow Drugs’ began with a particular person and experience in mind, but the song kept growing in scope until it became this jubilantly morose ode to a strange time in my life, an adventurous and slightly insane period I tried to make sense of by writing about it (still trying).
The artist shot the video in Switzerland, on rollerskates. ‘Slow Drugs’ is the lead single and title track from his forthcoming extended play, set to release in May. It features Josh Werner, Parker Kindred, Jeff Buckley, Daniel Schlett (DIIV, The War on Drugs), and Beatle.
