Less than a day ago, South African rappers AKA and Nasty C released the official ‘Lemons (Lemonade)’ video. Turning his pain to fuel, as he suggests in the first verse of the record, AKA seems to be moving past his mourning stage after the loss of his beautiful fiancée, Anele Tembe. To close out the first, the ‘Fela In Versace’ rapper thanked God that people showed their true colours.

Next, Nasty C uses his verse to talk about ageing gracefully, being truthful, and South Africa (“what a place to reside”) calmly. Watch the Nate Thomas direction for a feel-good Hip-Hop/R&B track below.

It was cool to hear the Busta Rhymes-inspired opening.
