Nigerian Afrobeats star Asake announces 4th studio album ‘M$NEY’
The Nigerian superstar enters a bold new era with a new album, fresh collaborations and a striking marble tribute.

Afrobeats star Asake has officially announced his fourth studio album, ‘M$NEY’, set for release on May 1, 2026. The highly anticipated project signals a new chapter for the Nigerian hitmaker, whose rapid rise has helped carry Afrobeats to an even wider global audience.
Alongside the announcement, Asake shared a visual documenting the creation of a marble sculpture in his likeness by Iraqi-Dutch artist Athar Jabar. Carved by hand from Statuario marble sourced from Carrara, Italy, the piece reflects both Asake’s image and the cultural weight of his presence at this stage in his career. Jabar described the work as a deliberate and traditional process, calling it an honour to contribute to such a significant moment.
‘M$NEY’ arrives after a strong run of singles from the superstar, including 2025 releases ‘Why Love’ and ‘Badman Gangsta’ featuring Tiakola, as well as his recent collaboration ‘Worship’ with DJ Snake. Together, those tracks have continued to highlight Asake’s genre-blending sound and confident artistic growth.
With ‘M$NEY’, Asake looks poised to further cement his place as one of the defining voices in contemporary global music. In conclusion, the album will be available on all streaming platforms on May 1.
