Last week, Nigerian Afro-Fusion star singers Ruger and BNXN released a joint EP, simply titled ‘RnB’. On the high-energy seven-track project, the former rivals sing about the many shades of love across the project, not experiencing “full witness” (‘POE’) and supreme enjoyment (‘Party Monster’). The production choices for each song—made by some of Afrobeats’ prominent star producers like Blaisebeatz, Kukbeatz, and Sarz—pulls its listeners in upon first play; making it a smooth and pleasant experience, marrying both star’s unique vocal style in the best way.
Recently, the pink-haired ‘Asiwaju’ crooner made a series of posts to X (formerly Twitter) that made some people uncomfortable.
