Police arrest a woman from Richmond as the investigation continues.
Reality television star Kash has died at 29. Her real name was Mackayla Paige. Reports of gunfire brought officers to Downtown Oakland around 1:30 AM on Sunday.
According to TMZ, they found her with a gunshot wound. Doctors pronounced her dead at the hospital. Police have arrested a woman from nearby Richmond. They have not released her name. They have not shared a motive.
Hours earlier, Kash shared Instagram Stories of a night out with friends. Those clips now carry a heartbreaking weight.
She appeared on ‘Real West Coast Baddies’, ‘RoomH8z’ and ‘Young & Reckless’. Her cousin, Nicky Clayton, told KTVU she felt disbelief.
Kash dreamed of fame and her own business. Sadly, her dreams ended far too soon. Whilst officers search for answers, the makeshift memorial now marks the scene in her honour. The investigation continues.
